Marketing Coordinator

About the Role

This role is an exciting opportunity for an individual to work with a start up company and help shape the path we take. The individual will have excellent communication skills and a strong understand of eCommerce and digital trends. Your role is all about ensuring that all marketing campaigns across channels including email, SMS/MMS, web push, Social media and our website are executed to brief, without errors and on time.

You will need to have a positive "Can Do attitude, a high attention to detail and enjoy taking your own initiative.

Your Duties

Your key responsibilities of the role:

  • Building, testing and executing email campaigns using best practice techniques in email design, sending and list management to ensure the highest possible inbox placement rates (deliverability) and high customer engagement
  • Assisting in the development and execution of marketing campaigns across all digital channels  
  • Monitoring campaign and channel performance and applying insights to continuously improve performance
  • Creating engaging copy for campaigns across channels
  • Preparing daily / weekly / monthly reports for Management team
  • Sharing campaign results within the wider business, including during campaign planning and development
  • Ongoing testing and optimisation of ecommerce platforms and email marketing  
  • Preparation of briefs for our creative department
  • Updating and analysing performance reports on digital campaigns
  • Coordinating consumer engagement activities (contests, giveaways etc)  and setting up promotional codes and terms
  • Ad hoc marketing and PR tasks as required from time to time

You Will Need To Have

  • Must have minimum 1 year experience in eCommerce/ digital marketing
  • Strong understanding or interest in digital trends
  • Understand of he RC industry is strongly preferred
  • Must have previous experience in building marketing campaigns
  • Ability to think outside of the box and present new ideas
  • Experience with email campaign management tools and/or tag management systems
  • Must have an understanding of Google Analytics
  • Customer focussed and commercially aware
  • Analytical mind set
  • Highly computer literate (including Excel) & comfortable working with new technology platforms
  • Copywriting skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Demand Planner

About the Role

We are looking for a diligent, detail focused and proactive individual to join our planning team and make a difference to our customers and sales force.

Reporting directly to the COO you will be reasonable for end to end planning of the companies inventory.You will work closely with the sales and marketing team and develop an aligned forecast for the full 12 month planning horizon. You will be involved in business team meetings and represent the planning team in. Key to the role will be you working with the overseas productions centres to ensure full service levels in a cost effective manner. This role will also play a crucial part in the monthly S&OP process.

Your Duties

Your key responsibilities of the role:

  • Manage optimal inventory holding levels based on market requirements and supply constraints
  • Financial Management and delivering on budgets   
  • Ensure slow moving/excess stock is minimised and kept within company policy
  • Prepare and execute demand forecasts, in partnership with sales and product management, for a diverse product range
  • Management of stock levels through effective monitoring and management
  • Review present inventory practices.  Propose and facilitate change
  • Ensure accurate purchase orders are placed and maintained with local and overseas suppliers and reflected in ERP system 
  • Manage the inventory min/max review process for branches and forward stocking locations

You Will Need To Have

  • Extensive previous planning and inventory management experience
  • Advanced analytical skills
  • Excellent organisation, planning and time management skills
  • Excellent understanding of inventory practices
  • Above average computer skills
  • Advanced excel fomula skills
  • Exellent problem solving skills
  • Self Motivated and ability to work alone
  • Understanding of the supply chain process
  • Previous experience within an inventory or purchasing environment
  • Understand of he RC industry is strongly preferred
