Just a quick note to let you know how much the SHARKS appreciate the RCBattery.com sponsorship of our events. The Weather forecast wasn’t great, so registered pilot numbers were a bit low this year. There were pilots from Shreveport, Bossier, Keithville, Stonewall, Monroe, West Monroe and Abbeville, LA, as well as Texarkana and Tyler, TX. We did have rain both days, but it cleared up before noon, and the pilots took to the air. Both days we had light winds and cool temps after the rain. The combat events went well and are a big hit with the pilots.
The batteries you provided dovetailed nicely with our raffle prizes. Both the Freewing F-22 and the Legend Hobby Cessna use 6S 5000 LiPo’s so we paired them with your batteries, and the raffle winners got a battery to go with their new plane! We decided to raffle he remaining batteries instead of giving them out as pilots prizes and as you will see Roy, from Tyler, TX cleaned up.
